Hi I'm Jamie.
I have been down to CDH to find out about how volunteering as a Dog walker. I want to get my first dog later this year but in the mean time I would help out and walk some of the dogs.
I'm trying to find information on how to do this but there are so many threads and other information. CDH said I needed to contact "Bag Lady"?? I have no idea where to find contact info.
I'm a physically fit, single, 31 yr old man and lead a fairly active lifestyle. I'm at a point in my life where I want a bit of extra responsibility, but I would also like to help out rather than jump in at the deep end and get a dog straight away.
Please can someone reply with relevant info on what to do next?
Thanks
Jamie

That's brilliant news. baglady is at the home most mornings, if your around ask for Susie there's a registration form on the forum you need to fill out, search under wakey wakey walkers on here.

Hi Jamie,
'Baglady' (aka Susie) scans the forum routinely so will no doubt pick your message up (if she hasn't already done so!!!) and will get in touch.
I've been a wakey wakey walker since Sept and love it so hopefully you'll be on board soon too as I think Susie has some inductions planned in Jan.

Hi Jamie, the thread for walking is under the "collared- hands on with the dogs" section. You can contact Susie (bag lady!) To fill in an application form, and you will be able to take part in an induction session which will tell you all you need to know about walking the dogs. Friends are going to be organising some more induction dates soon so keep an eye out
