Just wow!!! This fella had our hearts a fluttering tonight with his boyish good looks!! Marney was happy to get out for his photoshoot and seemed very interested in everything going on around him. "Whats going on over there then?" Marney took time out from nosing to show us his sit and paw, good boy!! Marney is looking for a home with Northern breed experience. These dogs are a lifestyle choice and take a lot of commitment. Not only do they need plenty of exercise, they require mental stimulation too, along with plenty of grooming!! People who enjoy wearing black need not apply Marney is available for rehoming on 16th July. If you'd like more info on him, please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. Mon/Thurs till 6pm.

I took Marney out this this morning, this big lad is so gentle and laid back! He hardly pulled at all on the lead, just wanted to sniff absolutely everything! Even when we were walking quite close behind two other dogs, he wasn't at all bothered, showed no real interest in them and didn't try to pull towards them at all. Marney stopped for a lie down in the shade and rolled over for a belly rub on the way back, he really is soft as a brush! Marney obviously doesn't enjoy being in his kennel as he had to be dragged back through, so here's hoping he finds his forever home very very soon!

I took this gorgeous boy out on Sunday. All I can say is he stole my heart! He's a young lad but a perfect gentleman. He walks like a dream on the lead no pulling & wasn't bothered by other dogs. If I could give him the time & attention that he needs I'd take him home in a heartbeat he is a stunner! I hope he finds his forever home soon

Whilst we were out for a walk today, we met three very lovely children (and their father) picking blackberries. Marney wasn't interested in the fruit but he just lapped up the attention - if anyone is wondering if Marney is good with children, this photo says it all.... Later we spent some time in the garden, but I couldn't find a toy engaged his attention, however I did get a couple of nice photos including one of him modelling his brand new collar...

Marney was my first walk of the day today, and he's an absolute stunner! He walks beautifully and is such a happy chap He walks brilliantly and loves to sniff everything you pass while you're out. He also likes to check you're still with him and when he looks up at you with those beautiful eyes your heart just melts!

I had Marney out for a nice long walk yesterday and he's such a lovely boy. He walks so well on the lead, and when an off lead dalmation came running up to him he just stood face to face with his tail wagging! When we stopped in the shade for a drink and rest he loves attention, he pushed himself right into my lap for a fuss and belly scratch! Yes got such a lovely temperament and deserves a good home to go to.

Marney the Magnificent!!! Had a fantastic walk with this handsome hunk of a dog this morning. He is a lovely lad who walks very well on the lead and just enjoys being out and about. He is not phased by anything or anyone and a passing cyclist was so impressed by him that he actually stopped to ask loads about him. Marney is a cool character who simply takes everything in his stride. Go meet him! Go walk him! Go get him!

We'll be arranging to come and see Marney on Tuesday. He seems absolutely lovely and we'd love to give him a home. We've owned Northern breeds for over 20 years and need a new one in our life. We can't wait to meet him. See you soon Marney!

If he's and likes going jogging and having a good cuddle then he's my kinda guy! I'm more than used to having dog hair in my food and my garden looking like a digging site (the joys of Northern breed ownership)! Of all the dogs we've seen online he does look like the number one contender. Just hope he's happy to meet me too!
