As said in the subject title, Im Elinor! I usually respond to pretty much anything, El, Ellie etc. I am 23, and pretty much my whole life revolves around dogs!
I am currently still living at home with my family, and as a family we have 2 dogs, and a rather large hamster!
This is our dog Lexie (Who was our very first dog as a family a few years ago) She is a rescue, she was found dumped with her brother on the side of the motorway. She is approximately 5-6yrs old now. Dont let looks be decieving she is one strong independant woman!
And this is my other dog Jasper the neurotic Pomeranian! We fostered him over christmas time 2 years ago...and we couldnt possibly let him go! (Though over this period he was positively saintly lol)
He gets freaked out by the simplest things, if there is a plastic bag in the garden he will tell it off for a good 5 mins until you move it. Then he looks sheepish and slinks off! He is such a soppy boy, full of cuddles and licks
They have been in love since Jasper first stepped foot into our household! He is very dependant on her, if she has gone somewhere without him he is distraught.
As a family we have fostered for a rescue for 3 years We have looked after 60+ dogs in the time and rehomed about 56. I have adored every single one, each with there own personalities. I have experience of many different breeds, from the stubborn hounds and huskies, to rascally terriers, and countless crossbreeds.
My personal preference is for every single bully breed, anything with a wonderful thick set face, saggy skin guarenteed I will love em! Though my mum isnt so confident at handling them, so we havent been able to foster any...yet
I joined the walkers register as I just want to be able to help more dogs Working in rescue does give you a complex...just want to save them all!
I have recently got a new job, better pay less hours and it is perfect timing for me to be able to do what I love in my free time.
No doubt you will get plenty of photo updates on the dogs from me...I am incredibly snap happy, believe me I pretty much take pictures of everything!
Me and my boyfriend also have a small buisness called Unusual Orange (we sell little trinkets, jewellery, keyrings, collars, leads and more) Please do let us know if you are holding an auction ( or something similar) We are sure we can find something to donate to the cause
Anyway...thats my life story pretty much all done Im quite a waffler!
Looks forward to getting stuck in and helping you all...and the dogs of course!
