Dog sitter or walker, advice needed

Hello,
My name is James and I have a 9month Shih tzu called Alan. He is a bundle of joy however my wife has taken up a new job meaning he is home alone for afair few daY's a week which is exactly what I didn't want to happen as I don't think ita fair on him.
Not sure if this is the right place for guidance however wondering if anyone knows of agood place, or agood safe contact to take him out during the week days, or a doggy day care style venue we can take him too. Or alternatively if getting him a little companion may be a good idea??
