Prepare to lose your hearts to the very loving and cuddly Tigger! Tigger was brought to CDH as a stray last week, so he's had a few days to get used to his new surroundings. He's already figured out that he absolutely loves female company, and relished his time in the vet room! He wasn't too interested in the toys on offer, all he wanted to do was sit on laps and woo the ladies ❤️ "If I just lay here and look cute, they're bound to love me." "I'm not sure I like my new look, but I suppose I do look very festive." "Kiss me, Charlotte!" He knows his basic commands and will happily sit and give you his paw for a nice treat, and was very patient with us even when we tried to put Reindeer ears on him! If Tigger's owners don't come to claim him, he will be available for rehoming from 14th December. If you would like more information on him please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. Mon/Thurs till 6pm For more information about the rehoming process at Cardiff Dogs Home, please click on the link below: friendsofcardiffdogs.proboards.com/thread/5880/guide-adoption-procedures

What a stunning, loveable, amazing dog Tigger is we had a nice long walk on Sunday, it was his 3rd of the day but he did not mind having a trip up the Ely trail to the bay and back. He is so gentle on the lead, only a little bit of pulling when we first set off, and really loves a fuss and is so gentle taking treats. The moment the lovely Tigger got me was when we got caught in a hail shower, he really didn't like it, rubbing his face and looking at me for help, so we ran under the bridge until it passed, and he cwtched right up into me, as if he wanted me to keep him safe we had a little moment! Love you Tigger, we set off not knowing each other, and came back as friends xx

I talk to all the dog's, but Tigger has this ' thing ' about him, as if he understands what you are saying to him, and likewise, his body language is very easy to read and he can melt hearts with just one look! See you tomorrow lovely boy, can't wait for our walk xx

As promised, walked lovely Tigger today Saved him for last ( My 5th walk ) so I could spend some time with him. We walked up the ely trail and we sat on the bench, when I say we sat, I do mean WE He is such a big cuddle monster, so full of affection, but without being too over the top. He sat down with me, on the bench, and was happy to just sit and cuddle for a bit. When we were walking, he did pull a little at first but this was his first walk at 11.30 so I really don't blame him. He just takes in his surroundings, takes a heathy interest in other dogs, seems to just want to say hello and play, and after the first 5 mins down the lane, he walks very well on the lead. When we got back to the home, we had to wait for a bit, so me and Tigger had a little sit down ( yes on the floor in the car park ) and he did the same sit down and cuddle into me, he turned into an oversized lap dog! Really do love you Tiggy boy, big smooches from me xx

Awww Tigger! Lets give you a bump up! You are way too gorgeous to be stuck at the bottom of the thread ( They are all bloody gorgeous but you know what I'm on about! ) This stunning boy loves the ladies, I have had him giving me gentle, lap cuddles a number of times He is a very good stress reliever! Please ask about Tigger, he is very good on the lead, is happy to stop and have a fuss, is very gentle with treats ( sometimes he is not bothered by them! ) seems fine passing other dogs, and seems to be very happy in his own fur when out on walks, considering he seems a young dog. Don't know why you are still at the home? I will be taking you out again on Saturday if you have not yet found your forever home xx

Took Tigger out today, as always, he was a gentleman, around people and other dogs alike He did take a uncharacteristic dislike to Baxter when we passed along the lane, after we passed though, I noticed he was shaking, and really wanted a cuddle He was scared, so not sure if its a Sharpei thing? Poor Tigger After a little cuddle and some reassurance from me, he was fine to carry on our walk. We met a family with two young children along the Ely trail, and Tigger was so gentle with them, he just laps up affection from everybody. We had a little chat along the way, I enjoy my chats with Tigger, he knows what I am saying to him, and he gives oodles of cuddles and love in return Tigger is such a sweet, cuddle bug. If you are thinking of rehoming, please take Tigger out for a walk, he will give you so much love, it would be impossible not to get back and put an app in for him! Can't believe he is still looking, he is amazing xx

Today I had a nice walk with this good boy. I was advised not to bring him too close other dogs, but to be honest Tigger doesn't seem to have particular problems, he is just normally curious to meet some friends, no aggressive attitude, no bark at all. Tigger is a well balanced adult dog, he loves sniff anything and carefully chooses the best place to make his poop... everyone has their own needs. As someone mentioned, he likes female company, but I can assure Tigger was very affectionate with me and other people. He loves children as well. What can you ask more from a dog, that he prepares a good coffee for you???

I took this charming boy out for a walk this afternoon and I am well aware of his love for cuddles and attention from our previous walks and in the kennels. Although because it was his first walk in the afternoon I made sure we focused on the walking and other things, but that didn't change his mind. As my boots tend to get quite loose after the 3rd or 4th walk , I decided to stop at some picnic tables to give them a tighten and Tigger seized the opportunity for a fuss and was straight up onto my lap with his very muddy paws ( thanks Tigger) we were both still eager to walk so the fuss session was short lived but great nonetheless. A runner then caught his attention so I had a chance to get a snap of that handsome face of his. Tigger might make it into my group of favourite walks at this rate just because he's such a charmer!
