We are thrilled to say that Ffion has now started her new life!! She has been an amazing mum to her 5 pups for the last 8 weeks and she can now be her own dog We would like to take this opportunity to say a HUGE thank you to Christine who has taken such tender and loving care for Ffion and her baba's . She has ensured that Ffion has had the best midwifery care, and that the pups are very well socialised, on their way to being house trained, and just the most adorable little boys you could meet! Thank you so much Chris, it means the world to us

You're very welcome. As Susie said to me, it's something to put on your bucket list, an amazing experience. Here's Ffion with Josie, her new mum. Josie is one of a group of friends who walk, train and socialise their dogs together and Ffion had a lovely time with 10 new dog friends, yesterday. Ffion and Josie will be attending pet obedience and rally obedience classes after she recovers from her spay next month. She also has a new dog companion to live with, an elderly Golden Retriever called Ben.

I was lucky enough to catch up with Ffion and her new Mum, Josie today, and will, hopefully, do so regularly, in the future. Only 12 days after adoption, Ffion is looking really well. She is gradually getting her figure back and has developed impressive muscles along her spine and on her thighs - a testament to good food and plenty of exercise. Best of all, both dog and owner seem really well matched and happy in each other's company. Sorry for the dreadful photo (should have used flash) but I think it shows how fit and healthy she is becoming, after saying goodbye to her puppies.
