Ffion's Five having Fun!
Ffion had five stunning little boy puppies. She and two of her babies already have amazing homes to go to, and Rory, Flash and Storm are eagerly waiting to interview their potential forever families
These stunning puppies will be ready to leave their mamma in about two weeks, and Friends will be dealing with the applications, not Cardiff Dogs Home, so please don't contact the Home if you are interested in adopting.
As they are of unknown paternal parentage, please consider very carefully whether size matters, whether you would prefer a long coated or short coated dog, whether you want a lazy lurchery type, an on-the-go terrier type, a lively collie type, a laid back staffie cuddle-monster type.... and if ANY of these considerations are going to be deal-breakers then it's probably best not to apply, as we simply do not know who the daddy is, or what sort of size, energy levels, etc these puppies will achieve when they are adult dogs. Christine, Ffion's midwife, helpmate, babysitter, nurse, and very very best friend for the last two months has helped Ffion bring up 5 of the most gorgeous, sociable, polite and grounded little pups ever - and we want to make absolutely sure that when they leave their mamma they will be going to a home for the rest of their lives.
So, if you know for sure that come what may over the next 12-15 years you are able to offer a home for life to one of these babies please email friendsofthedogs@gmail.com to request an application form in the first instance. Please type 'Ffion's Pups' in the subject header.
As part of the application process shortlisted rehomers will be required to provide a veterinary reference and pictures of the boundary fences of their garden. We will also be homechecking shortlisted suitable applicants.
Adoption fee will be £150 and it is a condition of the rehoming contract that the pups are brought back to CDH for neuter when they are six months old. This cost is included in the rehoming fee, and the pups will of course be microchipped and will have had their first vaccination before they leave our care.
22nd MARCH UPDATE: FLASH AND STORM WILL BE JOINING THEIR FOREVER FAMILIES ON FRIDAY, 25TH MARCH. RORY IS STILL WAITING FOR THE RIGHT HOME TO COME ALONG....
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN OFFERING RORY A HOME, PLEASE EMAIL FRIENDSOFTHEDOGS@GMAIL.COM TO REQUEST AN APPLICATION FORM, AND PUT 'RORY' IN THE SUBJECT LINE.
