Hey guys, hope you can help with some quick queries. Can i walk dogs before 11.30 (say 10ish)? When i arrive i usually see dogs returning from their walks. Is there an enclosed play area at the home at all? Took Teddy out today and i sat on the grass and he went nuts, jumping and rolling, but was obviously really restricted by his lead. He still enjoyed himself though Do you think its better to take one dog out for an hour or two for 30 mins? I tend to take one as often most of the dogs have had one walk by the time i arrive at 11.30. Cheers for your help guys

Hi! You can walk dogs anytime from 8am until 6pm on Mondays and Thursdays, and 8am until 4pm the rest of the week including weekends. The dogs love their early morning walks, it gives them a chance to toilet and get some fresh air before the home opens to the public at 10.30am. There is a garden they can get some offlead time in, but you would normally need a member of staff or a long standing experienced vol to go in the garden with you I am sure Teddy loved rolling around today, they love their walks, and most don't mind the lead as they are so happy to be out. As for how many dogs and for how long, if I'm down early, I tend to do shorter walks ( for me that's about 45mins to an hour ) and try to get as many as I can out so they all get a morning walk, so you can take out as many as you like ( One after the other, not together ) Afternoons when they are all on 2nd or 3rd walks, I often take one dog and walk for up to 2 hours or more, depending on the dog, so if you come later and they have all had walks, just pick your fave dog and go for as long as you like with them Happy walking!
