Please give a big Friends welcome to the delightful Zac Boy did we have some fun in the garden with Zac!! This fella LOVES his toys! There is a big pile there Zac, which are you going to choose? Ah, the tennis ball! He danced for it..... He chased around with it..... He caught it..... He hunted for it..... He even braved the tunnel for it .... Feeling pretty pleased with yourself eh Zac! Zac is absolutely cracking! He has that handsome salt n pepper look going on, and is just full of beans! He loves to play with his ball (anyone else thinking he may have some Collie in him??) so if you have a strong throwing arm, this fella could be for you! Zac is available for rehoming now. Hi had a lovely walk with Zac on the weekend! He is brilliant on his lead, not bothered at all by other dogs and is generally just a pleasure to be around! Good luck boy xx

Zac is one very handsome old boy! Don't let his grey hairs fool you though, because this little man loves to stretch his legs. He kept a nice constant staffie pace on our way out of the Home and over the bridge, sniffing and marking every few minutes - he was very much a man on a mission. After ten or so minutes though he settled down and started to relax, especially away from the traffic, and started to turn and check on us every now and then. He passed over dogs with barely even a second glance but he wanted to go up to every person he saw and say a big hello. Luckily for him we were in Grangemoor Park at the end of some sort of race (training for tomorrow, maybe?), so there were a lot of people around to offer up compliments. I think seeing so many people in high-vis jackets confused him a little though. We stopped at the benches for water and a few treats (taken very gently!), and while Zac was very happy to sit for his treats (no paw today, our treats weren't worth it!), he just wanted to keep going! No cuddles for us today, but that doesn't mean Zac won't be a cuddly dog in his new home. This boy just knows he's got to make the most of being outside. On our way back he slowed down even more and there was very little tension on the lead. He would look back at us every few minutes, just to make sure we were still there, and he seemed responsive to his name (or at least the tone we used). Zac is a really lovely boy, a nice steady staffie with lots of energy and a very handsome face, and he'll be a wonderful addition to his new family. Here's hoping he's not waiting too long! (Zac responding to his name as we walked, though giving me a 'I'm not doing this again until I get a treat for the last time' look)

Zac is such a lovely boy I had the pleasure of his company while cheering on the Half - Marathon runners, and then a nice long walk yesterday. Zac really does love a good walk, don't let his grey muzzle fool you! He loves all the sniffs and smells, and does a fab sit for treats. He really does have spring in his step, sometimes he even looks like he is skipping along! Zac does not bat an eyelid to other dogs, and seems quite content in his own fur, he also loves having a good old scratch and makes some fab Staffie snorts while having his back scratched. Zac is a fab boy, not sure why he is still looking for his forever home, I think that grey snout is tricking a few people, he is full of life. Come on down and say ' Hello ' to Zac! He would love to say ' Hello ' back

Just to reiterate everything Eve says, I have walked Zac twice and he is such a steady, easy walk! He trots along nicely, no fuss or bother around other dogs, traffic didnt give him any problems, neither did passing joggers or bikes. He is bombproof! A gorgeous boy who really does deserve a loving family x

We couldn't resist taking this gorgeous little man out this morning, and he is just as wonderful as we remember (and as everyone else has already said above). He's steady, calm, gentle, loving, intelligent, and playful. Traffic didn't phase him and while he was definitely interested in passing joggers/people, he didn't pull to go over to them. While he does like to walk on ahead, it's just to stretch his legs and make the most of his time outside, and he calms right down after a good 20/30 minutes of walkies. His tail is always wagging and he's always got that handsome smile on show, especially when he thinks there might be a treat or tennis ball on the way. When we stopped for water and a treat Zac showed off not only a lovely sit but also an adorable 'beg'. Obviously tired of waiting for me to get a good photo of him sitting, but not wanting to jump up and snatch the treat - he's far too gentlemanly for that - he decided to woo us instead with this wonderful little trick. He's such an intelligent boy! On our way back we encountered an excitable off lead dog and, after telling the owner we'd couldn't let Zac socialise (I wish people would realise that even if their dog 'is fine and won't do anything', it doesn't mean the same goes for every other dog), he waited patiently as we told her where the Home was and how to become a walker. The off-lead dog stayed a nice distance away and Zac showed barely any interest until they walked off, obviously keen to go and play - though he happily trotted away with us when we asked. I could sing Zac's praises for another good few paragraphs but, in short, if you're looking for a loving, handsome, clever, and steady new family member, look no further!

I am so pleased to be able to say that this lovely boy has finally found his new home and is now enjoying his new life. It's always heart breaking when the older dogs get overlooked as they are wonderful on so many levels so it's extra special when they find new homes.
Congratulations zac xx
