Please welcome the fabulous Sidney This sweet little guy has been signed over to the home as his owners felt they didn't have time for him. He has been left for very long periods on his own. Sidney says 'If you want to leave your pet for up to 14 hours a day, get a Goldfish' Dogs need to have fun! As Sidney is fully vaccinated, we invited a few friends into the garden with him to say 'Howdee'! Sidney has fabulous manners around other dogs, and even though toys are his favourite thing in the whole wide world, he was more than happy to share with Bas, no throwing dummies out of prams if Bas got there first! Some of our young Pilgrims joined us in the garden - and Sidney was in his element! Sidney seems to be a good-to-go little lad! We didn't see him put a paw wrong today! He absolutely loves people, was brilliant with Bas, playful but quite careful around little people, and loves loves loves toys! toys As he has been signed over, Sidney doesn't have to spend a full seven days at the Home. The staff will take applications on him immediately, and he will be able to join his forever family from 17th October. If you would like more information, or would like to meet Sidney, please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. We took this little bundle of cuteness out for a walk today. What a happy little fella, an absolute pleasure to walk. He wanted to sniff every bush (left his mark on most of them!) and is very alert, looking around him all the time. No reaction whatsoever when passing other dogs or people and doesn't seem bothered by traffic, although he did jump a bit when a train went over the bridge about our heads. He wasn't quite sure of us when we started our walk but by the end of the hour long walk he was so friendly, looking up for a cwtch and when he got one lots of licks to say thank you! He was very inquisitive and soon sniffed out the treats in our bag but we only gave him some tiny ones as he is such a tiny dog. He took them ever so gently though, what a good boy! And as soon as they were gone, he was looking for more... I could so easily have brought him home with me, he will make someone a wonderful little pet. Good luck Sidders, I don't think you will be waiting long for your new peeps!!
