Please welcome Marley - little crossbreed - aka 'Shih-Poo' apparently!
Hi Marley!
Hello Aunty Sooz!
Marley is just a year old, and has been signed over to the Home due to a change in his owner's circumstances. He is a bright, confident little fella, a little indignant at his change of circumstances, and he was keen to suss out the local talent!
Meeting Miss Daisy - one of the staff's dogs.
Daisy is a patient little lady, and she is well-versed in welcoming newbies to Newport City Dogs Home.
It's always 'take your dog to work day' at Newport City Dogs Home! It really helps the newbies, who may feel unsure and a little anxious, to have the staff's placid and well behaved pets around to help them settle.
Meeting Alfie, who must have seemed like a BFG to Marley!
Marley is verrrrrry anxious to meet his forever family, and without any prompting from us, he soon sussed out how things work at Newport!
Rehoming Hub? - is this where I meet my new peeps?
Are they here yet?
er, looks kinda empty
Is this my forever sofa?
Better make myself comfy. How long before they come for me Aunty Sooz?
Oh Marley, it might be a little while, but don't worry sweetie, we've got a nice warm kennel for you, and the staff and vols, and your fellow residents will look after you while you're waiting!
C'mon little fella .....
As Marley has been signed over, he is available for rehoming immediately. If you'd like a date with Marley on the 'Forever Sofa' please contact the staff at the Home - TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm or 2pm - 4pm, or pop in for a visit! No appointment needed!
Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, and microchip. It is a condition of the rehoming contract that all dogs are neutered/spayed aged six months. Subsidised vouchers are available at £35, this is in addition to the rehoming fee.
All applicants will be homechecked prior to approval.
