What a sweet girl Ruby is. She came to Newport City Dogs' Home as a stray and nobody has come forward to claim her. She's got such a lovely, kind face.
Ruby loved the opportunity to come and play outside her kennel, but was all about exploring until I got out a squeaky toy.
"What's that?"
I know it's there, somewhere........ "Got it now, and I'm going to run about so fast that you can't take a photo of me !" She was a good girl, though and let us take it from her, so that she could fetch it again. Ruby is thought to be a Labrador x Rottie but she is not very tall, as you can see from the photos. Her estimated age is 6-8 years but she is still very active and loves to bustle about and play. If not claimed, she will be ready to go to her new home on 29/10/2016. TEL NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME on 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm or 2pm - 4pm, or pop in for a visit! No appointment needed! Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, and microchip. It is a condition of the rehoming contract that all dogs are neutered/spayed aged six months. Subsidised vouchers are available at £35, this is in addition to the rehoming fee. All applicants will be homechecked prior to approval.
