You won't be disappointed! Blue is an absolute angel. It was the first time she'd shown us her stubborn side after quite a few walks, and I can't exactly blame her because it wasn't a nice day, but it just added to her charm!

I have met Blue once, my husband is coming to meet her too. Having owned what we lovingly called Amber a Diva for 8 years I can only imagine Blue has similar ways. She certainly has the same temperament that Amber had.

Fingers crossed things go well! I'll miss walking Blue so much but I'd love nothing more than for her to be spread out on someone's comfy sofa.

We walked Blue again yesterday. She has lost quite a bit of weight since the last time we walked her and it certainly shows - she seems to have developed muscle instead of fat and is a lot stronger now. She is still a thirsty girl and practically dragged us across the car park for a drink from the nearest water bowl! But once she had had a nice drink we were off down the lane. She did seem a little reluctant to walk at first but once I rattled the treat box in her direction she was quite happy to follow me (although she didn't get many treats, sorry Blue but I think you are still watching your weight?)
When we got to the end of the lane she decided she was going to dig some holes in the waste ground there and once she made a nice hole she stuck her nose in it - it was so funny, she was like a pig sniffing out truffles! She then moved on and made a few more holes and seemed perfectly happy so we just let her get on with it. After about 10 minutes she decided enough was enough and off we went to Grangemoor Park. She walks perfectly on the lead and wants to stop and say hello to every person and dog that she passes, tail constantly wagging.
When we got to the benches she was straight up on top of the table again, looking around her and enjoying a cwtch. I think she would have gone on and walked for ages and she seemed reluctant to turn around and return to the kennels but luckily we managed to persuade her - if she had sat down and refused to move I am not sure we would have been strong enough to get her going again!
I am surprised she hasn't been snapped up as several people have told me whilst out walking that they have applied for her over the last few weeks. But I think she needs the right home for her - she is a big dog who is going to need a lot of exercise and commitment from her new owners. She is just a big softie though and I will miss her when she finally finds her forever home. Good luck Blue!

We're absolutely thrilled to share Blue's news! She has found the perfect forever home! With two little fur-friends, a little pug and a fabulous, elderly crossbreed lady, and lots of little people who will play with her for hours on end, and a lovely understanding mammy and daddy who have promised to continue to help Blue on her journey to svelteness! We're soooo happy for you Blue!

Oh BLUE! Our absolute favourite doggo!! She brought us so much joy on our walks over the last few months - a totally gorgeous squishy softie who always made us laugh One of our favourite things was when she would put on a sudden surprising burst of speed during her walks (we called them Blue-ster Jets!) It’s been an honour and pleasure to spend so much time with Blue, seeing her energy levels go up and up as she slimmed down – you CDH guys did an amazing job with her! We’re going to miss her so much, but we are thrilled that she’s found such a wonderful forever home – exactly what this special girl deserves. We managed to capture some highlights of our last walk with her last Saturday – we hope her (many!) fans enjoy watching it
