Hi Casey. Max was certainly still there yesterday, but to find out the exact situation, you will need to contact staff, at Newport Dogs Home. Contact details and opening times are towards the end of the first post in this thread, but the phone no is 01633 290902. The kennels are very busy, at the moment, with staff at full stretch, so you'll need to keep trying.

Sorry it has taken so long x Hello, Im not sure if anyone here can help me, my Mam put an application form in for Max a little while ago, including all the references, but she hasn't heard anything yet and I can't seem to find a contact number. Is there any news of whats happening to him? Have he found his forever home with another family? Thanks, Casey

Hi Casey - does your mother have another dog? I'm pretty sure the staff have agreed that Max would benefit from living with an older dog. He absolutely loves dog company, and I think they are hoping to rehome him with canine company. x

I was wondering if Max is still available? I have a bichon/terrior and my friend next door is looking for one also.Hes been puppy sitting for me and now wants one of his own. My puppy is 7 months and going to Cardiff canine classes which is how we heard about Max.

Hi Kelly, Max was still waiting for his home yesterday when the volunteers were walking him. If your neighbour would like to meet Max the home is open Monday to Saturday 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm. He might want to just give them a quick call on 01633 290902 before popping down to check that the are still taking applications for Max. Hello I was wondering if Max is still available? Well little Max was with us for a month with very little interest, and all of a sudden it was like London Busville! They all came along at once! The rehoming process can be protracted, but if everything is right, if everything clicks into place, if the applicants fit the rehoming criteria perfectly, bring their veterinary references, their little people, their resident pet(s), and all you can see all around you are big fat smiles and waggy tails, something tells you THIS is the perfect forever home! And so it was..... *no words needed* 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 And finally, on his forever sofa, at the end of the first day of the rest of his life...... Be happy Max, it was an absolute pleasure knowing you little man, and we couldn't be happier for you!
