This gorgeous girl is Petal.. I only managed to get one photo of her today due to camera battery issues, so you'll just have to take it from me that she is truly stunning! We took Petal into the garden for a run around and she certainly did that, she raced around like she was having the time of her life, tearing from one end to the other. A joy to see Petal is available for rehoming now. If you would like more information, or would like to meet her, please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. I've seen this lovely lady and can vouch for her being a beauty. Good luck finding a new home Petal, I don't think you will have to wait too long.

My children and I had a fabulous walk with Petal on Wednesday. She was awesome! She was so very excited when we first went out jumping up etc but soon settled and walked well... but every now and then she would suddenly pull as if she'd forgotten she was on a lead and wanted to run. She was great around both children and gentle when we gave her treats. She didn't seem anxious at all whilst out with us. We enjoyed a walk up to Grangemoor. She watched the world and seemed interested in what was going on around her but didn't react. She was content with cuddles and whilst walking often checking if I was still there.... and nuzzling my hand for extra love which we were very happy to share. She's a gorgeous girl and seemed happy to have children around her. I wish her all the very best in finding a very comfy sofa soon! I would happily take her if I could. I'll try to post some photos! I'm new to this!

I walked Petal for the first time last Tuesday but had seen her out previously with other walkers and she seemed to be walking at a gentle pace. I I think she was excited to be out when I took her as I was at a jogging pace going down the lane, which made me smile. She soon settled down to a nice pace but every now and then as previously posted, she would suddenly go as if to run, forgetting she was on the lead - then again, my brother's dog is the same . She is truly a lovely gentle girl, and I do hope she finds her forever home soon.
