Dude is a dwt. He's a JRT who was found straying by a member of the public who brought him in to CDH. He is an older boy, but we don't know his exact age, and he's got a couple of things going on that are being taken care of, including a painful eye. You can see in the photo that he's closing his left eye but they are both sore. It's very sad that Dude ended up roaming the streets when he clearly needed vet treatment, but he's in the best place now to get what he needs and he'll be right as rain in no time! He's a very affectionate little chap, very relaxed with us and happpy to have a fuss. We're looking forward to seeing his true personality emerge when he's feeling a bit better. Dude will be avaialable for rehoming on 4th January, assuming his owners do not collect him in the meantime. If you would like more information, or would like to meet Jax, please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. It didn't take Dude long to win some hearts! We know our walkers were particularly fond of him too! Dude has found a fabulous forever home, and we couldn't be happier for him!

Dude has been renamed Benny and has settled in well.
He loves to play fetch and will happily fetch his ball for hours!
He goes for walks every day with his new friends who live just up the street.
He is such a lovely gentle boy (apart from when he is destroying his toys) and we are happy to have given him a new home.
I will post a photo when I get onto a computer.

Yay that's so lovely to hear. Poor boy was really not in a great way when he arrived so I'm thrilled to bits that he's now got such a fab new home with people who love him x
