Angel by name, and Angel by nature This pretty young girl was brought into CDH as a stray. She was a little anxious when she first came out for her pics... But Angel is just a youngster, and she was verrrrrrry excited to be out in the garden for the first time! She couldn't sit still for a nanosecond! We had great fun with her in the garden, but might as well have left the camera at home, she moves like white lightening! And she's as fleet and lightfooted as the wind! She's in fabulous shape And as curious as a youngster should be! What's that noise? Better go find out! And pretty much this is the ONLY picture we managed to get in focus! Angel seemed to find the whole 'sit still' thing a bit of a hoot! Well, what can you do? We just let Angel kick up her heels! Plenty of time for some more pictures if this darling girl doesn't get snapped up first! If you'd like to meet her please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. Oh little miss Angel! What a pretty little puppy this sweetheart is! She bounced out of the kennels to see us and, after giving us each a quick 'hello' sniff (and pausing long enough to show off her dazzling smile to two builders/workers who were waiting in the car park), we were off down the lane! Angel is a young girl and probably hasn't had a huge amount of lead training, so our arms did get a little bit stretched as she very eagerly bounded along to explore the big wide world. However it's only to be expected from a puppy who's been cooped up all day, and Angel is definitely one smart cookie who'll take her training in leaps and bounds! She settled down wonderfully after getting a chance to stretch her legs and liked to walk just ahead of us, making sure to try and catch up with a cheeky mini gallop if one of us got too far ahead. We didn't get a chance to go in the garden with Angel but I just know she'd be an absolute blast! Every so often she'd try to start chasing her tail, forgetting that it was part of her Angel just wanted to investigate and see everything when we were out, and she spied things that even we didn't notice at first so there's certainly nothing wrong with her eyes! Or with those fabulous spring-loaded ears! When we stopped for treats and water she was very gentle taking treats and was happy to sit for us, though wasn't as sure about paw. In time, Angel! She was quite interested in other dogs from afar but seemed a little unsure when she was up close as we learned when someone's off-lead dog bounded over to say hello. Her tail went under and she grumbled a little bit, but I think it was more out of uncertainty of the situation than aggression. It's very possible Angel hasn't had much socialisation with other dogs yet, so a few puppy parties and I'm sure she'll be much more comfortable and 'in-the-know' about what to do when she meets another dog. If your home is ready for a gorgeous, full-of-beans, happy, playful, and incredibly affectionate little girl and you're ready to put the time, training, and mountains of love into being her forever family, then look no further than Angel!

I took Angel out yesterday. She was soooooooooh excited, this meant quite a bit of lead grabbing for the first 10 minutes. Once she had calmed down , she did her name proud. She was an Angel. She was inquisitive, walked nicely, kept looking back at me to make sure I was there, loved any attention (this may be what some of the lead grabbing is about too)and was so affectionate. What a gorgeous girl. She really needs to get out of the kennels and into a loving home.

Angel is a VERY energetic young girl who would love an active home. After a nice long walk, she settled down. She is extremely playful- so playful that a rope slip lead was merely a big exciting chew toy for her! If you walk her, make sure the lead is a chain one so it's less appeasing for her- mind the fabric handle on a chain lead though as that is also a big toy in her eyes!
Luckily I had an exciting squeaky ball to distract her biting her lead so this little miss likes balls! She can accidentally nip you while playing so take caution and be careful.
She will need a confident and experienced handler to show the ropes of manners as she was so desperate to give me love and kisses and could jump any height to do so. As she's young, she'll be incredibly responsive to training.
She didn't react to new people or other dogs which is always a massive plus for our lovely girl!
If you want a fun loving, active playmate, visit Angel!

Had a lovely walk today with this energetic Angel! Such a lovely, responsive girl with bags of charm and energy! From rolling in the grass, to making little snorty staffy like noises, washing my face twice (just to make sure it was clean) . Friendly with two legged peeps and very interested but calm with the four legged variety, a lovely girl! Couldn't fault her! ❤️❤️❤️

Had my second walk with Angel last week, and she was so good on her lead. The lead grabbing was gone, maybe she had had a walk already that day, and she just wanted to walk and sniff. She is such a gorgeous girl, always looking to check you are there with her, and just wants affection when you stop. She didn't react to anything , and was happy just to be walking, sniffing and cuddling. She is a lovely girl who needs to get out of kennels and into a home.
