Couldn't make it down on Monday bit plan on popping down for 11 tidy to meet this gorgeous girl (and all the other residence) Hi Rhi! In theory Willow could be the girl for you βΊοΈ But if our match making skills don't work their magic then we have a couple of staff's who I'm sure would love to meet you all. I child test all the Newport Staffies with my own children π The volunteers are are Newport City Dogs Home on a Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 11am so probably best to call down one of those days if you can so we can chat with you. Hope to see you soon! I notice willow has lived with children before, we are a family of 2 adults and 2 children age 16 and 6. I have had staffies before and wondered if willow would suitable for us (in theory) I appreciate we'd need to come and meet her but before we made the trip down I thought I'd check.

Met this gorgeous girl this morning, along with oscar. We didn't have time to meet buster too though so we are coming back down on Saturday. Is the adoption/ application process the same at Newport to Cardiff?

Poor Willow has seen so many dogs come and go since she arrived, and she feels a little bit overlooked. Well, actually, that's not quite true - she is still as happy and waggy tailed as the day she arrived But as she our longest termer at Newport, the staff and volunteers at Newport City Dogs Home felt she was being overlooked in favour of the newbies, so we asked the Staff at Cardiff if they would take her in and give her a change of scenery, and hopefully as a 'newbie' she may get more interest. And of course, the lovely staff at CDH said they'd love to offer her a kennel, so Willow is now the new girl at CDH! If you can't resist a wriggly-piggly staffie girl get down to Cardiff Dogs Home to meet her soonest!

Oh gosh, this girl melts my heart. LOOKAT HER FACE! She for sure is passionate about her walks, I ran with her a few times on the lead as I felt she wanted to get some of her energy out every so often. Even then, she was great on the lead, when walking she would stay at your side and every so often look up for some strokes! Adorable! She does every so often seem to get a new scent and energeticly diverts her path, but honestly I didnβt find this an issue. The more smells she sniffs, the better, itβs just dogs being dogs. All in all, a lovely, affectionate, beautiful girl, if I could have her I would!

Would Willow be suitable for rehoming with young children (1 and 2) she is absolutely adorable. I first saw her pop up on a post in September and can't believe someone hasn't offered her a loving home yet!

Hi Laura, Willow is a lovely girl who lived with older children before she came into kennels earlier this year. She is rather high energy and can sometimes get a bit giddy when she's excited. It may be that with very small people she could accidentally knock them over or be a bit too much for them. But do pop down and have a chat with the staff π Would Willow be suitable for rehoming with young children (1 and 2) she is absolutely adorable. Alex says I have a beautiful name because I'm a beautiful girl hehe πππ I went out with Alex today to get all my energy out and it did the trick. We went for a good long walk and a run I think Alex was trying her best to catch up with me, I let her win in the end but don't tell her hehe. Apparently I'm another truffle pig at the Hotel but I can handle that π Alex says I have a sassy side, I want cuddles when I want, walks when I want and I want to sniff and explore when I want. Miss Independent you could say hehe. Fingers crossed I will have better luck in Cardiff and my furever family will be here before I know it. Good things come to those who wait remember ππππ Lots of love from beautiful Williow ππππ
