Well hello there Roxy This sweet little lady has been signed over to the Home due a change in her owner's circumstances. Roxy is not a cream Jug. This is a cream jug.... Roxy is a pug mix, a 'desirable' cross breed, apparently they were all the rage until quite recently, but we are seeing more and more Jack/Pug mixes in rescues and rehoming centres as other breeds are becoming more 'fashionable' It's taking Roxy a little while to settle into the routine of kennel life.. She is still a little distracted and disinterested, but we're sure as soon as she hits the walkers list our Pilgrims will get her curly whirly tail wagging! As she has been signed over, Roxy will be available for rehoming as soon as the vets are happy for her to leave. If you'd like to meet her please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. For more information about the rehoming process at Cardiff Dogs Home, please click here

Roxi was my dog and it has broken my heart having to sign her over and I'm sure the home will tell you how distraught this has made me ,but due my ill nan having to come to live with is I felt I had no option as I couldn't give her what she deserved and I know there would be someone out there that could.I would love for her to have a loving forever home with someone who can give her everything she deserves , she's loving energetic and will be a perfect companion and she is a absolutely gorgeous dog so please if you can go and have a look at her as I'm sure you will fall in love with her like I do xx

Roxy has settled in with me after some anxious behaviour, I'm keeping her on a long lead for the moment as she may try to find you, being a very loyal and feisty doggie. I'll take good care of her, so don't worry. I don't have a smart phone, but will ask a friend to photograph her.We have met some friends from the Dogs Home in the Park

Awww thank you so much for writing that message I really appreciate it . I'm missing her terribly she's always in my thoughts and I honestly am so grateful to you for picking her and giving her a new home. Having to do this has absolutely broke my heart and I'm still in bits about it , but knowing she's ok and settling in does make it a little easier for me I'm just so glad she's going to be loved for the rest of her days ,she deserves it and I'm sure she will settle in and be a amazing companion she is a very loving and loyal dog . I wish you both all the best , and it would be lovely if you could just now and again put some updates just so I know she's doing ok .Thank you so much again and give roxi a big kiss for me xxx

I'm calling your Roxy "Rosie" now. Hope you don't mind. She seems happy with her new name , and with me. She is very affectionate and has a lovely nature, but she completely looses her cool around other dogs, except "Bertie" her friend across the road. I think she has anxiety problems and behaves aggressively in the Park. I am really worried and am arranging for some expert help around socialising her.

Of course I don't mind that you've changed her nane she's your dog now and I think Rosie is a beautiful name .She was never aggressive with other dogs , but it could be down to anxiety like you said and she's had a major change in her life . It's good that your getting some help cos I don't expect it's anything that can't be easily solved .Im so happy you have her and that she's settled with you ,it's so lovely to know as u seem very caring and that's all I wanted for her . Xx
