How adorable is Solo? This fab young fella has arrived as a stray, not chipped, and no one has come forward to claim him, although he attracted LOTS of interest from passers by when we brought him out for his profile pics yesterday! Solo is a stunning red labrador, we are guessing not much more than about 6 months of age, and he still has a fair bit of growing to do before he has grown into his puppy paws! He's still a little bit shy and unsure of himself, but makes friends quickly Especially with little people! Solo was rather pleased to find there was plenty of doggy company to be had too! And he was delighted to find a puppy friend in Petra, our young dobie girl! Both youngsters have definitely had the benefit of some basic training, Solo has delightful food manners for a lab! Lovely 'sit' and 'wait' for the good stuff! And to prove it wasn't a fluke... Change sides please! If no one comes forward to claim Solo he will be available for rehoming on 7th November. If you'd like to meet him TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from Β£120 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, neutering and microchip. Please note - veterinary references will be required and suitable applicants will be homechecked.

Hi, Solo is a beauty! Is he still available for re-homjng? If so, can he live with children and another dog?

Hey Dai, Solo has indeed met children and other dogs but you would need to come down to meet him and take things from there. What dog do you have? Hi, Solo is a beauty! Is he still available for re-homjng? If so, can he live with children and another dog?

Thankyou for your reply. That's great to know he is good with children and other dogs. We have pug, Gizmo. Would love to come down and meet Solo. My partner went down today but they said they didn't have any dogs that were suitable to live with children and then when I arranged home, I noticed Solo and was quite surprised they didn't mention him if he is good with children and dogs.

Solo only arrived yesterday so it may be that the member of staff he spoke to didn't realise we had already introduced my children to Solo. If you'd like to pop down to meet Solo, the volunteers are there Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 11am. βΊοΈ Thankyou for your reply. That's great to know he is good with children and other dogs. Hello. Solo had full applications when I popped in earlier today so the home aren't currently accepting anymore but it may be worth giving them a call the middle of next week to see if the situation has changed. π Hi is Solo still available for rehoming?
