Please welcome Stanley This adorable little fella has only just arrived at the Home. He was brought in as a stray, and although he is microchipped the staff have been unable to contact his registered owners as the 'chip details are not up to date. Don't be fooled by Stanley's rather sombre expression - this little pupster is ALL about the fun! He made friends with Bas immediately..... And we had 20 minutes of terrier-madness in the garden! It's possible Stanley's owners will come forward for him, but if that doesn't happen Stanley will be available for rehoming from 23rd November. if you'd like to meet Stanley please contact NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME for more information. TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £120 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, neutering and microchip.

Poor little Stanley has been returned. Not a blemish on his character, he was simply too lively for the little oldie girl he was sharing his peeps with, and his rehomers thought it would be best for both dogs if Stanley was returned.
So if you missed out on his first time around get up to Newport City Dogs Home soonest!

Would you consider rehoming Stanley with children? We have a two year old and five year old 😀

There's no reason at all why Stanley couldn't live with well behaved children! Pop up to meet him! xx

Is Stanley still available? We have two elderly cats, so we would need to take care over introductions and living arrangements, but he's young and I'm sure he could be talked out of cat chasing. He looks so bright.

Stanley is still available - but he has moved to Cardiff Dogs Home! Newport City Dogs Home were getting worryingly full, and the fab staff at Cardiff offered to help out by taking in two of the Newport Dogs, Stanley and Willow staffie. Stanley is a little livewire! He has clearly had little or no training, and has very little impulse control at the moment! He's a single minded little character and his new peeps will have to go right back to basics to help him become the model good doggy citizen he is destined to be! He is an absolute delight - and whoever adopts Stanley will need to be up for the challenge of living with a very excitable little pupster
