Please welcome the utterly adorable Sushi!
Sushi was found wandering around all on her lonesome ownsome, and was brought to Cardiff Dogs Home by the wardens. She is microchipped but her details haven't been registered. No-one has reported her missing, and no-one has come forward to claim her.
Sushi isn't in the best condition. Her coat is very threadbare, and where she does have fur growth on her lower paws and tail she has some nasty matted knots. She has clearly been used to breed from, and it's a mystery why her owners wouldn't spend a fraction of the proceeds from just one of her pups to keep her comfortable and in good condition.
Sushi was a little anxious when we first brought her out for her pics, but once she knew she was in safe hands, and that those hands were the bringers of pate, she soon perked up!
Nom Nom! Yummy in my tummy eh Sushi?
Sushi did seem lonely in her kennel, so we gave her a little furry friend to take back with her
Of course you can keep him Sushi!
Sushi absolutely adores cwtches, she simply couldn't snuggle close enough...
And she felt safe enough to show us her tummy for gentle tickles...
She really is a darling...
Although it's Easter - there's still a little chill in the air, and before we put Sushi back in her kennel the staff found a warm coat for her.
Suits you Sushi
She is a very agile little lady, and has perfected the 'standing beg' pose! Sushi really is irresistable!
If no-one comes forward to claim her, Sushi will be available for rehoming from 5th April, and if you'd like to meet her please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm.
