Well hello there handsome fella
This verrrrrry handsome young fella was brought into Cardiff Dogs Home as a stray. We have been in contact with his owners, and after a long and painful discussion, his family have decided that it's probably in Bandit's best interests to find a new home and so they will not be coming to collect him.
We do know a little bit about this little guy though. He is 13 months old, and has lived contentedly with kitties. Bandit has had a bit of a tough time getting along with an older child of the family with learning difficulties, and as a result he can be anxious and worried until you have earned his trust. It didn't take staff member Emma long!
Here's comes the pate!
We're all Friends here Bandit!
And there you have it! Cwtches!
And smiley faces
Bandit will need a loving and understanding adult only home. His coat is going to be pretty high maintenance too. That glorious fur won't look after itself, so applicants who can evidence that they have a very good relationship with a groomer and fairly deep pockets will be preferred. Regular grooming can be costly, and for little 'uns like Bandit it's imperative that his coat is maintained. Clipping a spitz is akin to criminal damage - and a trip to the groomers every 6 weeks or so for a good wash and brush up is the way to go, with regular home brushing in between.
Ain't that the truth handsome boy?
For more information or if you'd like to meet Bandit please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm.
