Please welcome Archie Archie has only recently arrived at the Home, and he's still a little shy, so we kept our date short and sweet not to stress him. We took him straight into the garden and just let him do his own thing. He headed straight for the summerhouse and up onto the sofa. Archie is clearly missing his home. But there were no familiar smells or scents to console him... and eventually he ventured out into the sunshine We even managed to get a staffie smile from Archie As the days go on it seems less and less likely that Archie's owners are going to come forward for him. Clearly they are not missing him as much as he is missing them Hopefully once Archie hits the walkers list he will start to get into the routine of kennel life, and want to make friends. You can't blame a loyal dog for missing his family. Dogs like Archie make us realise that some people don't actually deserve the love and loyalty of a dog. Don't worry fella, we'll find you a lovely forever home, and a sofa that you can call your own. For more information or if you'd like to meet Archie please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. What a lovely boy! Archie was a delight to walk in the sunshine today. No pulling, just a gentle trot alongside. No interest in other dogs, a sweet gentle boy who enjoyed a gentle cwtch and gave me a lovely staffie face wash! He would make just the best companion. Good luck, Archie you will make someone very happy! πΎππΎ
