Oh Tillie! What a gorgeous little girl you are This lovely little girl was found straying and is now in the tender care of the staff and volunteers at Newport City Dogs Home. Tillie has a docked tail and no microchip, which is a sure indication that her tail has been docked illegally. She has a slight limp, which may indicate a luxating patella, and Tillie also brought a whole host of little beasties with her when she arrived. Tillie had an emergency shampoo courtesy Miss Jenn today, and a little medication should soon see off the little visitors which have tormented her! She's already looking and feeling a whole lot better than when she arrived Tillie hasn't put a paw wrong since she arrived, and she is as friendly and affectionate towards her fellow residents and visiting pals as she is towards her new two legged friends Bas is always happy to be seen stepping out with a pretty girl And Miss June has already called first dibs on talking Tillie for her walks If you'd like to meet Tillie pop up to Newport City Dogs Home! TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £120 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment and neutering.

Tillie has been reunited with her owners. If you missed out on Tillie but can't resist a whiskery terrier watch these pages for incomer Sam terrier. Our volunteers will be bringing him out for his rehoming pics on Monday. He's four years old, a little anxious, but very friendly and affectionate, so if you want to be ahead of the game pop up to meet him before his rehoming profile goes up on the forum
