Well Hello there Doug the Dog Although he was found as a stray, Doug the Dog doesn't seem to have a care in the world! He's a happy-go-lucky fella, knows all he needs to know about the Good Dog rules, friendly, affectionate, and always has a lovely soft staffie smile for you! Except for when he's concentrating really hard on how to get a sausage! Work it out Doug the Dog! Perfect 'Sit'! Atta boy Doug the Dog passed the Bas test with flying colours today! He loves kicking up his heels, but only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun, so we kept his playdate quite short after his lovely long walk with our volunteers. If the shadows are short it means the sun is directly overhead, and even fit-as-a-fiddle dogs like Doug can overheat very quickly! If you'd like to meet Doug the Dog pop up to Newport City Dogs Home! TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £120 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment and neutering.
