Please welcome Rocky This lovely older fella arrived as a stray. Although his owners know he is in the kennels they haven't come forward to claim him, so poor old Rocky is looking for a nice comfy retirement home. Apart from carrying an extra pound or two, Rocky seems to be in fabulous condition. His coat is shiny, and he can't resist breaking into a canter when he's out on his walks. And when he's given the freedom of the garden he certainly knows how to kick up his heels! Rocky has shown impeccable manners around the other dogs we've introduced him to. Like an English gentleman he says a polite 'How do you do' and carries on with his business Rocky is a little hard of hearing; old age doesn't come alone does it fella? But Rocky has loads of life left to live! Rocky isn't as demonstrative as some staffies, we kind of feel he has either forgotten was affection is, or he's been left to own devices for some time, but once you win him over he is partial to a bit of a tummy tickle All our dogs are on restricted walks at the moment due to the heat, but they all seem to enjoy a potter around the garden with plenty of opportunities to stay cool If you'd like to meet Rocky please contact the staff on 01633 290902, or pop in to meet him. 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £120 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment and neutering.

Hey Rocky,
So glad we put an application in for this guy. He walked brilliantly with our dog Zeca. Hopefully, we’ll all meet again soon.
