I just met the very lovely Pickle at the Leap Year event. I popped along with Kara in my lunch break. She's given up 'Scruffy Bites' for lent and wanted to donate some of her pocket money to dawggies worse off than her... You see I raised her well... Isn't Pickle such an affectionate little poppet. An absolute darling. xxx

Hi Denise as far as I know the Home is manned 24 hours so you may be able to drop it off. Im sure someone else will be able to confirm if this is the case. That was thoughtful of ypu to get Pickle a comfy harness, bless her. Awwww Denise, I didn't realise you had bought it!! That's very sweet of you!

I love love love this little pooch she is an absolute darling. She charmed the socks off everyone she met yesterday. When you think what she's been through at the hands of some horrible humans she still loves people so much and will greet everyone with a wonderful waggy tail. Form an ordely queue peeps, this little beauty is going to fly out the door....

Pickle had a bit of a girlie pamper day today, and last time I saw her she was being freshly towelled dry after a close encounter with shampoo She looked 10 years younger after her bath! Sorry, I didn't have camera to hand, but it was like a bitta loving kindess had washed away years from her little body, and she's starting to look like the puppy she really is, but that was hidden behind the obvious neglect. She brushed up a treat, is now as white as a snowdrop, and I'm hoping someone manages to get a picture of her before she goes off to her new home. ;D

Do you know what she is like with other doggies yet? Since I saw her picture I can't get her off my mind as a friend for Oscar the papillon...

Hiya I walked Pickle and I can safely say she was fantastic with every other dog we met, she just wanted to be friends with them all, and was polite in her hellos ;D I think she has some reserves but if you're interested in her I would get down to the home and put your name down because sometimes other reserves don't work out for whatever reason

I met Pickle at the Leap Year Tesco outing and she was very polite and patient with my Kara, who can sometimes get a little bit jealous when mummy gives other doggies too many cwtches, and Pickle was very good with her!! Even when Kara showed her a 'wrinkly nose' she NEVER rose to it and just ignored her. I reckon she'd be fine with another dog.

Pickle is an absolute darling! Despite obviously having been through a rough time she was out with the other dogs on the Leap Day walk and really enjoyed herself. She was SO friendly. Her little tail wagging all day! Pork Chop took a liking to her as well and he even licked the sore on her leg at one point and she let him. Aw Bless!! Doggy luv!

Yes, funny youn should say that. Kara did the same and sniffed her sore leg very gently as if to say "what have they done to you?".

Took the happy Pickle out for a second walk on Saturday afternoon as my 3 children were very keen to meet her. She was full of energy but waited politely whilst the children made a fuss of her. Very well behaved on the lead and a confident little walker. Seems like she would be an ideal addition to a family with children as just loved the attention mine gave her and so very patient!
