Chico is available for rehoming from 04/03/12- He's a bundle of fun!! Very friendly, bouncy and mischievous Hard to get a non-blurry pic of him as he wouldn't sit still but after a while we managed to get a few short 'sits' out of him for the camera! His previous owners say he possibly has separation anxiety and chews/destroys furniture when left alone. The Home staff will watch and assess If you'd like more info, please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7days a week, 10.30 - 4pm

He seems very happy too - his tail is all a blur!
Hope he gets his confidence back soon tho. Xx

I was out on the leap day event today and walked Daisy next to Chico the whole way and have absolutely fallen in love with him. He was lovely with people and dogs alike, so energetic and playful but not difficult to handle at all. Really lovely dog, I can't imagine he'll be here long at all but I'll be so sad when he goes (don't worry I know it's definitely a good thing really!) He's a beautiful puppy and will make an absolutely lovely (although quite energetic I'd imagine) dog for someone

Me and a couple of friends took Chico out today and are all completely in love. I wish my landlord would allow dogs! He is a really friendly, lovely, easy to train, happy dog. Walks very nicely as well once he's stretched his legs a little at the start. Here's a few pictures

Great photos Megan! It makes such a difference seeing dogs out of kennels. He's a handsome boy too! I love his white socks and white tip of his tail! ;D

This little boy is lovely, I wanted to give him a mention to get him on page one! He is so handsome with the best of both a lab and staff. I hope someone gives him a forever home soon

Chico was actually rehomed on Sat and returned yesterday (Sun.) The reason given was that he was interested in horses, maybe despite their assurances, the people didn't realize that you have to put a lot of training and love into puppies/dogs to get a perfectly well trained dog

I am no expert but surely a day isn't long enough to give him chance to settle in? What a shame for this lovely boy

Blimey, to return a dog within 24 hours because of an issue that's perfectly trainable, does seem indeed pretty hasty and unreasonable. You need to put a but of an effort in sometimes... Let's hope his new home works out for him. x
