Thanks so much for all the replies everyone - really helpful, really informative, and turned into a hilarious thread through and through! ;D

Hey Ellie I'm a terrier fan myself, although I never realised I was! My parents had Samoyeds when I was younger and I always thought I'd want a dog of that size and nature when I got my own. Well I'm glad I didn't! As much as I love the 'smiling sammies', I just think terriers have oodles more personality ;D and are just so much fun to have around Plus points of terriers: funny, clever, witty, playful, affectionate, cheeky and small enough to cuddle with on the sofa Negatives: feisty, cheeky and have a mind of their own! I loves them I do ;D ;D

;D ;D ;D We were at agility yesterday and was laughing to myself thinking how would you do agility with a Springer, when they're thinking "never mind that A-frame, what's in this tunnel?" ;D Wilf (cocker) used to go round the jumps (he was going through a phase of hurting his boy bits so was avoiding jumps if he could), hop over the A frame then leg it out the filed as he'd spotted a binbag en route to the agility lesson LOL
