How often do the new dogs that come in get put up on here, and how quickly?
Seems thats all the ones i liked had reserves already lol

We try and get the new dogs on here and the others updated twice a week, generally on a Monday and Thursday! Some dogs simply fly out of there in next to no time, others take a little longer to find their homes, it's just the way it goes i'm afraid! Keep checking the forum but pop down to the home if you're able to as you may take a shining to one of the dogs you previously hadn't considered, or you may come across a newbie that hasn't been snapped up yet! You will find the right dog i'm sure

i did see a little dog there today that i wouldn't have considered before, she was stunning! she was only brought in last night and was waiting for her owner to collect her....
Altho when we left there was a man asking for his dog that was picked up last night but was refusing to pay the fee, so you never know, she might still be there in a few days!
(if im not meant to say this then delete my post, oops!)

Layla all those things are pretty common knowledge... People 'losing' their dogs but then not being terribly fussed anymore once they hear there's a fee etc. Also dogs coming in as strays but turn out to be microchipped and when you call their owners they don't want them back etc. All very sad.
Of course there must also be people like us who'd be doing back flips and pay anything to get your dog back if you were ever unfortunate enough for him/her to have run away... but I guess we only get to see the results of the sad stories...

It is very sad when an owner no longer wants their dog, particularly if it's an oldie Layla it seems to come in fits and spurts, there were lots of small terriers in at once a few weeks back like Russell, Terry, Susie etc that probably would have been right up your street, but the last week or so there seems to be more staffies than anything! Good things come to those who wait, the right dog for you is probably right around the corner! ;D

oh i think i saw her is the one in the middle next to the lab or at least close, she was so sweet and happy to see people, but she looked so thin, i felt so bad, hope she recovers soon. And if she gets a new home soon, even better.
