If you can help at all, please post in the sections below.
This is a very worthwhile chance to raise funds for Cardiff Dogs' Home, helping both the Dogs and their environment and will be much appreciated by all connected with the home, especially the 1200 dogs they help a year (and it will be FUN and a good chance to meet each other, the last one was terrific ;D)
Sorry that we wont be able to join you guys this time. I forgot to put the date in my diary and have booked a much needed break away on that weekend. I hope it goes well for you and you make lots of money ;D
Had a fabulous day at the show with my mum. Well done to all the team well worth my visit will look forward to next time. Great crowd attended with well behaved dogs also loved the sled dogs of Newport.
I also want to thank you guys for such a great time today and for all the hard work that's so evidently gone into it. Cotton and I had a lovely time meeting all the other dogs and their parents and even the weather was on our side - thanks again
It was a really great day ;D Lots of Huge Thanks coming later - but if you have any photos, please could you post them here. Unfortunately our official photographer had to let us know last night that she couldn't make it, so we'd love to see all that you've got
I think we will be getting some 'professional' photos from a lovely guy helping out so stand by on those!
In the mean time i've got some pics! Well done to everyone, it was such a lovely day! The weather was fantastic, the dogs were very well behaved and every single person seemed to be really enjoying themselves! Made my job on the mic very easy! ;D
The Peters sausage catching competition cup! ;D
Becky and Cheryl doing a fab job on the entries!
Maria (manager of CDH) and a lovely lady from Summerhills vets doing microchipping!
Yes a great day today. I would like to thank Andrea and Andrea's mum and Ali for the fantastic help they gave me with the Doggie Dash. Carried on one man down when I had to slip away home to take the dogs out. Thank you so much Ali, Andrea and mum.
The merchandise and crafts went down a storm. We welcomed Kim who brought lots of beautiful treasures with her and also got stuck in with all the setting up and selling through the day. Over £164 came our way today.
Ally brought another bundle of goodies to sell - doggy cushions to join her bandanas.
Yes, it is a doggy bandana ;D
The Booty stall was there again. Your bits and pieces raised another £78
In our corner of the field a big thank you to Emma and Julie (Em quietly kept the dogs' bowls topped up with water all day). John who fetched and returned a carload of stuff to and from the store. Claire and Chris who helped out all day. Kate and Ellie, great to see you.
Isn't it great when we can finally put our feet up and or
You can see more pictures of the lovely items for sale on the Crafty Club Stall HERE
Big thanks to Lisa for running the 'Sausage Catching' event , not only running it but setting up and taking down. From what I could see from other end of Doggie Dash it was really busy, crowds until the sausages ran out. S/C money went into same pot as Dash and I believe a really good result was had between the two. Great job Lisa ( if you had help please give them a shout as I could not see )
It really was a fantastic day wasnt it ;D. As I was on the entries with Cheryl, we got to see so many gorgeous, well behaved dogs! Lots of ex CDH residents put in an appearance, Gus, Amirah, Skip, KC to name a few and they are all looking so well settled (and spoilt!) with their new families, brilliant!!
Everyone who I spoke to had a fantastic day and so many people asked if we could do a show at Fairwater again - maybe a date should be put in the diary for next year
I cant wait to find out how much we raised, got a feeling its going to be a biggie!!!
There were lots of special moments, here's one of them....
Winner of the Friends Best Sausage Catcher Challenge Cup
This post wouldn't be complete with a MAHOOSIVE to Peter's for sponsoring this class, to Kirsty for arranging said sponsorship (and for cooking 20 tons of sausage)! and lastly, to the fabulous LISA for running the show singlehandedly ALL DAY
