I'm doing 3 peaks that weekend but I'd really like to do something for the home, even better if Sis could help too. Might see if he's (and i'm) up for a canniX 1/2.... 3peaks!!!! that scares me! ive done snowdon at a leisurely pace a few times, but 3! o no! cannix would be cool....could be a distant fundraiser in that me thinks..... thinking caps on people....

i emailed the organisers this afternoon about possible collecting on the day...or even a stall, i'll keep you all updated with the response..... though with sponsership and the on the day publicity we should be on to a winner regardless !!!! xx

Hello Do you know how busy it would be at the race? Would it be worth us walking around/running it with collection boxes? There are sometimes certain rules against collecting this way - you often need to get a license to collect money in public and once you get a license I think you can only collect while you walk if you're part of a procession rather than a run

Carol....great minds think alike!! I thought of wearing one too (partly as a disguise)...them my husband reminded me that as I am so unfit, I will be a sweaty, panting mess without the extra weight!
It would certainly get some publicity though!!!

We can't do have a justgiving page - you need to be a registered charity.
We can set up a Facebook Event though - and I'm pretty sure we can put a Paypal Donate button on it (can we Auntie Ang)?
What do you guys want on your Tees?

hey everyone, sorry its been a while..... hope the sponsor forms are getting filled up......... im popping down to the last sunday tomorrow...i may try and get a few sponsors while there! we are now on the funrun charities page, so any members of the public will be able to chose friends as their cause to support!!!!! ive had a response from the rotary club about a possible stall at the event, should be okay but they'll discuse at their meeting next week and confirm asap. so t-shirts? ? any ideas/pref's it would be a fab idea if we could have them!!! im thinking group photos, the echo etc ive plugged it tonight on facebook as well, spread the world people, the more crazy people running/walking/shuffling the better!
