Thanks to everyone who made the combined SWALK and CON CLUB CRAFT FAYRE in Penarth such a success today.......Em, Rhian, Eric, John, Susie, Becky, Ellie, Lynne, Al and Katy - and of course to Sue for inviting us along One very lucky little dog has found his new family Al, are you besotted or what !!!!!!!!!! The lovely Ellie with Frankie the greyhound Emma Elf who was feeling really poorly, but who turned up at 10.30 and stayed til 3 to sell and chat for CDH - service beyond the call of duty, you lovely girl. A local lad who chatted to us for ages about his love for staffies. He's done a fab job with his own Staffy Missy, who was in a sorry state when she came to him but now is the picture of health and happiness. Lovely Katy and her beloved dog Becky who brought Max, big softie Staffy boy to meet us all and finally meet Oscar. This handsome boy was adopted from CDH 10 years ago. Fingers crossed that the Home will be visited by a few of the people we chatted to today who were interested in our doglets. Oh, and we raised £63.64p from our goods but we had 2 very generous donations too. £20 from Wendy and Eric gave us an unbelievable £100 towards the sensory garden in memory of his beloved wife Jenny. As this was a bit of an extra in our calender we would like to put all the money we raised today into the Sensory Garden Fund, if that's ok with everyone? Altogether that's £183. 64p

Oh and look who else was at the Cons Club today.....only Gorgeous George!!! This lovely fella was rehomed at the end of May and his mum says he is doing sooooo well! He has a lovely older sister who he loves to bits and he is looking just great. Poor George was in the Home for such a long time, he was an absolute favourite with all the walkers but he just kept getting overlooked, bless him. I bet he's glad he waited now, his family adore him ;D
