For July's S'WALK, we're going to be celebrating our staffies Staffies and bullies are massively over-represented in the stray dog population in pounds all over the country. They are over-bred, under-valued as family dogs, and suffer from the worst 'publicity' in the press Did you know....... The FactsLet's go S'WALKIES with our S'TAFFIES I'm really looking forward to this one, because it's going to be a sunny Sunday by all accounts

Hey S'WALKERS ;D Our lovely Rach is going to be at Penarth Cons Club on Sunday with the crafty stall, Friends literature, the rehoming book etc, and dogs will be welcome in the car park area Absolutely Fabulous Craft Fayre & Animal Charity StallsIf anyone is (wo)man enough, it's a 40 minute walk from CDH to the Cons Club, and it would be great to have a doggie presence ;D The walk would take you from CDH, along Penarth Road past the Baron's Court, down through Cogan, divert off into the Dingle (nice 'interesting' grassy detour for the doglets), over the railway bridge and through the back lanes to Stanwell Road. You could stop for a cuppa tea and a rest at the Cons, let the dogs have a bit of smooching time with their public, and then it's downhill all the way back ;D I know, it's not your usual Sunday afternoon amble, but the whole idea of the S'WALKS is to raise awareness as much as to give our dogs a constitutional, so if you're up for doing a 'big one' please post here It's not obligatory by any means, and if you prefer to take the normal Ely Trail Stroll, that's totally
