Hi guys,
I just wanted to say a little hello to everyone at CDH. I am a long time “lurker” of the forum, well, me, Rhys and Caileigh often spend our Saturday nights in pawing through the pictures of the poor pups.
Just a little about me, I’m a student, studying legal practise, I live with Caileigh, and our animals, Chilly, a (bald) Sphynx cat, 6 Whites Tree Frogs and two Chickens. (I will upload some pictures to a file later)
We have been planning for a long time to get a dog of our own. Last year we rescued a neglected, but incredible ABD called Patch, who has now been re-homed. She was in a bad way when we acquired her, underweight and covered in scabs. The really infuriating thing was the prior “owner” had the creams to help her get better, but couldn’t be bothered to sort it out. She got better and now lives happy in Cheltenham.
Since she has gone, we have missed her terribly, it is pretty much the first time in either of our lives that we haven’t had a dog in the house.
We found ourselves driving past this morning and popped in. There are so many beauts, It is amazing that people can spend over £500+ for a puppy when all these gorgeous boys and girls need homes.
We both love BIG dogs, the bigger the better, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be many people who share our love. Our only concern is our Cat, who is very playful and loves to tease anyone and everyone. Big dogs included.
Also, I am very sorry to read about the recent outbreak and the very sad losses as a result. I am sure CDH and their epic staff, (Caileigh'ss words, her family have always adopted through CDH) sort it all as soon as they can.
Anyway, thanks for reading, and Hello again.
