How sad. I really hope the walker recovers soon but it seems it's not looking good for Marley now. He must be getting more & more frustrated in there.

I echo the previous post and really hope the walker gets better soon. The very best wishes to you.
I can't bear the thought that something might happen to Marley though - his lovely little face makes me smile and I wonder if he's become territorial, as the previous post suggested, because he's struggling in kennels?
Could any of us perhaps help with temporary fostering and getting him to and from sessions with an animal behaviourist or trainer? One whom the Home were happy to use?
Obviously we have to be guided by the staff and yourselves but I, for one, would be very willing to help if it meant it gave little Marley some hope for the future.
I do have a dog at home already but if they were fed apart etc, perhaps he might settle?
Do let us know. I'm sure there will be any number of people on the forum willing to help. I know Friends and the staff will already have done and want to continue to do their utmost for him - but if extra support is needed, please please ask.
It would be wonderful to make a little Marley miracle happen!

What about Hope Rescue, Many Tears Rescue for Marley. Kennel environment is not ideal for any dog. A foster home could possibly be found for him. I would be willing to take Marley on and train him with no comeback on the home. He should be given every opportunity at a happy life, not PTS because he cannot cope in a kennel environment. such a sad story for such a lovely little guy, who may be acting like this through stress in kennels and may not naturally be an aggressive boy at all. How is marley with other dogs, has he shown any aggression with them or towards them? Also how is he in the garden environment as judging from his photos he looks so relaxed and at ease here. I do think Jaime has a valid point though, about the way the dogs are arranged in kennels. I've taken people to CDH in the hope of them rehoming a dog and twice were put off due to a timid small dog being kennelled next to a large noisey barky dog who just wouldn't let them look at or talk to the one next door and didn't stop till we walked away. surely it would be better to have the smaller quieter dogs kennelled in another area away from some of the larger noisier dogs, I know if I was stuck next to that all day long i'd probably want to bite someone. Maybe this can be mentioned to those who decide who is put where in kennels

We have been informed that Marley was pts on Wednesday Rest easy sweet boy, so desperately, desperately sorry we couldn't help you. There are been some very pertinent issues raised here, some questions that we can help answer, and some which we are at a loss to come up with solutions. We will open a discussion topic in Friends Chat. We would be really grateful if everyone could be respectful of Marley's thread, and limit comments to appropriate messages of condolence here.

such a shame especially as someone had openly offered to work with him through his behavioural issues and stated there would be no comeback on the home, he could have had a second chance, everyone gets grouchy days when stressed, RIP little one Xx

Can't really find the words to say how very sad I am.
Marley, you will always matter and I'm so so sorry that I couldn't help.
In another life, I really hope you have the chance to shine. That a joyful little dog gets all the good things he deserves.
RIP little man. You will be missed
