I thought you were a professional on the knitting machine...I would offer it a home, but as you know,I am homeless!!
Lisa is asking do you have anymore toys to be packed etc.
I have quite a bit of material...plain cotten stuff ? if anyone can make it up into whatever will sell..let me know.
I will keep up with the crochet and see if i can get a few things made. Look out for a couple of wicker baskets and I will do you Fruit baskets for a raffle, either for this Christmas fayre or for future fundraising.
Really Fab to see you both today.Cher.X

Cher - this is industrial - honestly, it's in my car, I can't take it out, it scares the life out of me There are about 1000 bits, long bits, spiky bits, rubber bits, poky bits, whorly bits, long bits and sharp bits - it looks like an industrial crane that's had an argument with terminator. If Lisa's sure she can take them, I'll do a freecycle round, and put a notice up on the board at the Home - and for wicker baskets (I still have a handful to give you, forgot 'em) and do you still need more glass jars? Yep - we're in it for the long haul Cher, so tell Lisa to pace herself - she'll be sick of the sight of me Lovely to see you too - Bern & I were saying -we have no idea how you manage to stay so serene

I'm not at all 'crafty'. I tried to do finger bobbin once, but you can't really make much out of a long worm of wool. I made some coasters - and then some more coasters, then my dog chewed my cotton reel, and it is impossible to find wooden cotton reels these days, so I just gave up. It was a long time ago. Someone gave me some wool once, it was lovely, really pretty, and one hundred percent pure wool, so I cut it into tiny pieces, teased it out, and put it in the garden for the birds to use for their nests. A good result.
I love the pictures of the human fruit machine!

Hi to everyone... I will check the fabric/material over the weekend, its all in a big case..which is full, but i will need to check the colours etc and get back to you. Susie,Lisa has asked again today about Toys, I have told her i have asked you,so i guess she really is waiting for them. She has a second group of people waiting to come on board,Lisa is thinking ahead,as in the future Liz may not be around as much,so other staff want to be involved. Today the clients were showing me the tennis balls all wrapped up like a christmas cracker, they looked so Fab.and all those little scarfs that DI has done are wrapped up with a gift tag, so sweet.! Chris is asking for more jars! Not to big, not to small, sort of medium size.!!Cheers X

No, it's been driving me nuts seems to be fixed now though - touch wood. I'm a vegetarian - how come I ended up with a tin of chicken soup in with the shopping - I've absolutely no idea . Still the dogs had half of it poured over their dry food tonight and it seems to be a new favourite

I need some advice with eBay - I just sold something (it was my first time) and I put paypal as the payment method. But the person who bought it brought cash with her when she came to collect. Now dBay have sent me a paypal invoice, even though it didn't go through paypal (but, thinking about it, I did click the button that says make a paypal invoice, or whatever). Do I just have to suck it up If I hadn't done the make the paypal invoice thing, would I still get charged paypal fees? Cheers, this is not one of my best subjects, as you can see

Cheers, this is not one of my best subjects, as you can see What does your Paypal invoice say? You won't get charged Paypal costs unless your buyer has paid through Paypal. Oh, unless your eBay payment method is set as paying through Paypal Funds? There's no extra charge for sending a Paypal invoice, regardless or not whether PayPal is used as the payment method. I would guess that you've asked for a Paypal invoice to be sent - maybe inadvertantly - and that eBay has helpfully sent an automated message to your buyer, and copied you in. Have a look in your "My Summary" bit and mark the item as "paid for" and "despatched." You need to right click and choose the specific option. The ONLY time you get charged Paypal fees is when someone makes a payment to you through Paypal

Thanks Kath - I've had a look at the invoice, you're right, it's not paypal fees, it's the 'final value fee - ten per cent?! Do they take 10 per cent of everything you sell? and if you go through paypal (seems you're right, I didn't) do they also charge a percentage? it adds up dunnit But, I've never been sooooooooo glad to be rid of something in my life Don't ask how, I ended up buying two treadmills of ebay, within a day of each other Perhaps I should stick to walking to the shops
