Just had the info from KWT Meet at 10am at Round Wood Llanederyn by the Power House ( I believe this is close to the playing fields but never been there ) Proposed duration - no more than 2 hours. KWT will provide equipment. All they need is us willing volunteers. Please wear your ''Friends'' gear

Just to add, I've had a google for information about where the meeting place is and the powerhouse is a youth centre (details below)
Llanedeyrn Youth Centre (The Powerhouse)
Llanedeyrn Youth Centre is situated in an adapted/refurbished heating station in Roundwood, Llanedeyrn. The building, known as The Powerhouse, is shared by the area's Neighbourhood Learning Service. It provides young people from the immediate community with a range of informal learning opportunities. The provision has established excellent working relationships with the local high school and other community organisations.

Hi guys, directions to the Powerhouse- if you travel along Eastern Avenue towards the M4 take the turn off that's signposted for Newport Road. At the Roundabout first left, signposted Llanedeyrn. Straight on at the mini roundabout (2nd turn off) then enter filter lane and turn right. Travel for a minute or so until you go under the stone bridge then turn right, you'll see the powerhouse on the corner by the bridge! There's a big, free car park right next to it! Hope that helps

The weather was reasonable for the Big Scoop today.
KWT had 8 volunteers out, plus a class from Llanederyn Primary school and a representation from ''Friends''.
It was actually more litter than Scoop, I never came across any poops and CazDD only found one. Plenty bags of litter were filled and all finished before noon. There should be a photo on KWT site soon that i will copy and post here.

Well done Bern and Co! Sorry I couldnt join you. I wonder if we could get our hands on some free poo bags from the council for handing out our events and street collections etc. Seems a lot of people don't know where they can get the free bags from
