Hello, I am a newly registered dog walker so please excuse me if this has been answered elsewhere already. I was wondering if CDH would allow home made treats to be brought in and given to the dogs? I often get the urge to bake but don't always want to be eating dozens of cookies for weeks on end! I know they cannot be used to sell in fundraisers because of issues with reselling homemade food, but couldn't find any info on this. Thanks in advance!

Oooooh yes please Kiwi One of our supporters regularly brings home made treats for our residents, and the dogs love them! We always keep boxes of 'Pick n Mix' treats next to the walkers register. Treats can be so useful as rewards for good behaviour. As a well-known and eminent local trainer behaviourist told me once 'You wouldn't do for a cornflake what you would do for a Ferrero Rocher'! Some of the dogs turn up their noses at gravy bones and biscuits, but they all seem to have a nose for some good home cooking
