Dashing Duke a lovely young Rottie. The poor lad was very thin when he came into the home He's been gaining weight steadily, and is now a healthy, handsome lad ;D Duke is about 2 years old. He's a lovely boy and knows how to give paw, and is a perfect gentleman on is lead. If you want to know more about Duke, contact details for the home are here

I'm in love - I just walked Duke (those of you who know me know that I have a little weakness for the Rottie and might think I'm being bias - well maybe I am ......... just a little???)
He is a treasure and pleasure - he is a little thin at present but I understand from the staff that he is putting on weight well and looks better than when he first came in. He is not too strong on the lead and we even had a little run (this nearly killed me but Duke seemed to love it). He is what I can only describe as a typical male Rot - sniffed everything in sight!
Don't tell the staff but I went to Mary's to get my lunch and he sat right infront of me until I gave him a bit of my ham and salad sandwich - he sits and gives paw for his treats!
What more can I say - I will be walking him again tomorrow!!!
Lots x

Lots has a *little bit* of a soft spot for our beautiful Rotties Who can blame her? Looking so much happier that when he first came into the Home... And he knows how to turn on the charm when he wants to... C'mon Lots, tell us about this handsome boy! You can't keep him all to yourself (although I know you want to)

Carol, Isn't he an absolute darling!!!
I get that alot when I'm out - I tend to take the bigger dogs out and the Mastiffs and Rots et al tend to get that reaction, you can see people giving you a wide berth can't you but that means all the more doggie loves and cwtches for us yey!!!.
Have a met you at the Pound - sorry rubbish with names, great with faces though!
