Ben still not found a home yet? Actually - he has The phone was ringing off the hook for Ben on Thursday, after his thread was shared on Facebook by the lovely Kim's Home And following little or no interest in weeks, Ben suddenly had his pick of some fabulous forever homes.... he chose the one he liked best, and trotted off on Friday with his lovely rehomers! Wishing you a happy retirement little man!

Dear friends, Ben here. Just wanted to let you know that I have moved out in case you wonder where I have gone. My new home is with an couple who are old and arthritic like me, but not as handsome. They have a lot to learn, they seem to think I want to have dog food rather than sausages but they are letting me map out my new surroundings and I have taken them out for a couple of walks. They are learning fast! Anyway, thanks to all the lovely Friends and the staff at CDH for walking me and loving me. Keep up,the good work!
Ben x

Many congratulations, Ben. Your old couple may be past their best, but as long as they have love in their hearts, that's all that matters.
May your days together be full of joy xxx

Here is Ben, handsome (if somewhat scruffy) as ever..and enjoying his new sofa... Ben is settling in, letting us know very firmly what he likes (food especially sausages) and doesn't like (dog food unless no sausages available.) He loves his walks and has said hello nicely to some of the local dogs when out and about. He has a wonderful time sniffing all the new smells both in and outdoors. He has had a couple of accidents which is understandable after all he has been through and one or two warning growly moments when taken unaware, again understandable given his poor sight and hearing. We are taking note of his messages and learning from them and we look forward to growing older together happily! Thanks to you all for looking after him. Ben and family x
