Some healing thoughts for Ben please, sadly he has been diagnosed with cancer of testes, fortunately slow growing, but he also has liver problems. We are hoping he can have his operation on Thursday as long as his liver is up to it, so keep everything crossed. In himself you wouldn't know his age, let alone anything else...his terrier nose is still sniffing everything in reach when out! And starving him Thursday morning is not going to be easy!!

Well Ben's liver tests still aren't quite good enough for him to have an anaesthetic, so we'll have to wait another 4 weeks and hope he will improve a bit more, they were better than they were three weeks ago but not enough to have the op. He is still perky in himself and the vet is hopeful so keep everything crossed.

Pleased to update that Ben has had his op, his liver tests didn't improve but scans showed no nasties in it so he had the other nasties removed on Wednesday and is making a good recovery. He is glaring at me a bit as he ended up being starved three times before the op finally went ahead but hopefully his vet trips will now be a lot less! He is being tempted to eat a sausage or three this morning which is a very good sign!

A very Merry Xmas from Ben to all the staff and friends who helped him so much at the beginning of the year. Here he is having fun at a party and sleeping it off with his friends after! He thoroughly enjoyed the party as there were lots of sausages there and lots of people to give them to him! Happy Christmas and many thanks from Ben and mum and dad to you all....
