Rather than trying to better themselves, I reckon if my 3 made New Year Resolutions they'd want to try to carry on doing what they know very well they are not supposed to Merlin would like to try to continue his new trick of barking at other dogs while riding in the car and making me jump out my skin Izz would like to carry on sneakily slurping cups of tea as soon as your back is turned - and it doesn't matter where the cup is, she manages to reach it Megs would like to carry on trotting about and as soon as you take your eyes off her, throw herself onto a pile of stinking stuff and roll and wriggle Ecstatically on her back

Fudgie is a very good boy, and a very clever little dog, and wants to learn another foreign language in 2012 Fudgie Bear[/color] Bas is a little bit norty and a little bit *slow* and is still trying very hard to get his head around the word 'No' as in... No, don't bite daddy's bottom when he goes to the fridge and bends down to get the milk No, don't pinch Fudgie's Kong (you'll be sorry) No, don't scratch the tapestry seats of our dining suite (....too late) No, don't scare the postman/neighbours/paperboy No, you can't ride a horse! My new year's resolution is never to make a new year's resolution ;D

2. Start agility lessons,,, (hint lets start a group!) 4. Learn to wipe my paws before I get to the cream carpet to keep mummy happy!! Agility is loads of fun, and a really good way to 'bond' with your dog! There's a really good agility trainer in Caerphilly. Cheryl's Megan goes to her - have you seen her pics?. She only started this year, and she's doing absolutely brilliantly! Let me know if you want details. They don't train over the harshest winter months, but I think she starts back round about March time. I bet Alfie would love it ;D I tried to teach Fudgie to wipe his paws, but he never ever got it and I gave up. He doesn't do the 'wipe my feet after a wee-wee' thing but Bas does, and I reckon it could be exploited. I never bothered with Bas because after we had a Fudgie for a bit (and before we got Bas) we tore up all the carpets and went 'hard floor' Does Alfie do it? Steph, I reckon you're 90% there if he does it after his wee-wee. Check out this one... Clever Dog!Most excellent and doesn't that dog look a little bit like Dasher? Just around the face?

I've pm'd you Emma's details Steph ;D Cheryl will be able to tell you more - Megan still goes. Fudgie retired on health grounds, and Bas, well, Bas never quite got the hang of it....... I do rather fancy doing terrier racing with him though, so if anyone knows of anywhere that does that, let me know? Good Boy Alfie to put your toys away! My son never got the hang of that in 18 years

My son never got the hang of that in 18 years Hi Steph - I've posted up some pics of Megs doing agility, she really loves it. We started doing lessons in March with Emma (alongside Fudgie the master agility dog) and Megs seems like a natural ;D hoping to get into some little competitions next year. Let me know if you fancy going when classes start up again, maybe we'll see you there Megs' NY resolutions would be... 1) To get my very own sofa, and lots of cushions that I can cwtch up into a big pile and lie on top of 2) To work out how to open the cupboard door and open the box of Bonios for myself so I don't have to bother mum to do it for me 3) To be able to run as fast as my buddies (Kara, Fudgie, Bas, Scampi), my legs don't seem to go as fast as theirs do 4) To continue to make my neighbours smile by sticking my head out through the curtains at the front window and saying hi as they walk past
