Please say 'hi' to Jack, stunningly handsome 10 month old lurcher boy
At 10 months of age, Jack is still just a youngster, and still has his best school years ahead of him
Jack is currently in foster in Cardiff, and is being rehomed by Greyhound Rescue Wales, who have provided the following info on Jack!
This is Jack, a 10 month old rough coated lurcher boy who is 20 inches to the shoulder. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated up to date. This beautiful lurcher puppy needs to find a new home through no fault of his own due to changed family circumstances his owner can no longer provide the love and attention he needs.
Jack is a greyhound x bedlington terrier, 10 months old, light tan thick coat with amber eyes. He’s got a lovely temperament and is very sociable with people and dogs. He is house trained and used to being around children, although they he may be better living with slightly older children as he is prone to jumping up, nipping at clothing when playing.
He sleeps in a crate and can be left for 3/4hours on his own, mainly as he sleeps most of the day. He loves going out and has been enjoying 2 or 3 walks a day, his favourite activity being chasing crows and gulls. His recall is improving but could still do with some work as he tends to be distracted when playing with other dogs.
He has been to puppy classes and can sit and respond to ‘treat’. His worst habit is jumping up at people with excitement, although he has improved as he’s got older. His favourite place is sleeping in front of the fire and he is equally happy spending the day snoozing at my elderly parents.
He really is a lovely lovely pup and he is seeking a new home most reluctantly on behalf of his owner. He’d benefit from someone being around or being with another dog as he really is very social.
If you feel you could give Jack the home he needs, please contact Greyhound Rescue Wales directly via this link

....and please mention that you saw his profile on Friends of the Dogs (Wales) forum.
