Meet our georgous piggy staffie girl Buttercup! Poor buttercup was a little bit nervous when she came out for her photos......she slowly crept out of her kennel when we went to get her and nervously joined out outside for a toilet break and a bit of sun. Although nervous Buttercup took great comfort in cuddling up close to us and seemed to enjoy her sunbathing session! We are sure Buttercup will soon be coming out of her shell when she gets to meet our wonderful walkers. We think this little lady is going to be a big hit with our walkers, everyone who met her during her photo shoot was completely smitten Buttercup is available for rehoming now! If you would like more information on her please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. Mon/Thurs till 6pm For more information about the rehoming process at Cardiff Dogs Home, please click on the link below: friendsofcardiffdogs.proboards.com/thread/5880/guide-adoption-procedures

Betty is settling in beautifully. She had a full on day yesterday, and met her 'cousin' Mabel (who was herself resident at CDH many moons ago....) She went to mum's office today for the day while we were at work, and was good as gold there too. She is conked out in her bed ready for the morning. Can't imagine the house without her now. She is being loved beyond belief. xxx

Hi everyone, Betty here... I just thought I'd say hi and tell everyone how very wonderful life is. I have been with my new family for a month now, and we have all settled in together really well! I have had a couple of dramas, mainly around my stitches bursting post op for being spayed, but a week in a babygro sorted me out, no problem. We have been away for the weekend, walking in the Brecon Beacons, which was brilliant, although slightly terrifying (mum and dad wonder if I am still fearful of being dumped) but I had a good time sniffing, walking and getting lots of cuddles. I've been out for lots of walks, although I'm still frightened of going out on my own with one adult, but I'm sure that over time I'll overcome my fears and issues. Mum and dad, and grandma, who has me every day during the day, which I absolutely love and get fed lots of treats and have lots of cuddles and walks, are trying their best to settle me and tell me that I'm not going to be left anywhere on my own, but I'm still a bit scared. I've put on 2kg and am now about my right weight, just got to stick to it now! I love the boys, who are always around and giving me lots of cuddles, and I love love love Flo, who thankfully helped me pass the cat test - we share the same sofa and bed every night, Flo even washed me for the week after my op when I just couldn't do it for myself - we are best pals! All in all, I just want to tell people to give Staffies a chance - we are wonderful, loyal and gentle - everything you could ask for in a pet.Thank you CDH for helping me find my forever family xxxx
