How could anyone not love this darling boy? Spot is 13 years old, and probably hasn't enjoyed the equivalent of BUPA healthcare in his latter years, if in fact he has actually seen a vet at all ..... Spot has so much more going for him than his list of ailments might suggest... he has cataracts, his skin condition isn't great, he hasn't been to the dentist for some time, and the vets are investigating a small lump *whispers* in a region he would rather not talk about But Spot isn't ready to call for his pipe and slippers, or to hang up his lead, there's plenty of life in the old guy yet! Hmmmm, who ate all the pies Spot? Pies? Did someone say pies??Spot is available for rehoming from 18th July, and of you would like more information on Spot or any of the dogs for rehoming at Cardiff Dogs Home, please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm (closed for lunch 12 - 1.00pm weekdays) For more information about the rehoming process at Cardiff Dogs Home, please click on the link below: Rehoming Process

Ah Spot, what a truly lovely gent. Being a little older Spot we didn't wander to far as it was a warm day. Spot does enjoy a little break and a sit down and a fuss. We had a wonder down to the grass at the bottom of the estate and took a sit down before heading back (well after fusses and a little water). Please give Spot a chance, this true gent will make a great companion. Look forward to our next outing Spot if you haven't been snapped up already.

Wonderful news! Thank you for giving Spot a comfy home to carry out his retirement in. Cardiff Dogs is wonderful and all the dogs are given so much love and care, but nothing beats a quiet home where he'll be the centre of attention. We took Spot out on Thursday and despite the rain, Spot trundled along without a care in the world. He trotted every so often when he felt like picking up the pace, but certainly didn't object to some cuddles under the shelter of a bridge and some trees. He is such a happy dog and I'm so glad he's going somewhere warm and cosy for his twilight years. Thank you! (our favourite picture of him! that little smile!)
