Please welcome the verrrrry pretty little pupster that is Meeka! This little lady has been abandoned by her owners at the tender age of 10 months. Christmas puppy? Probably We only had Meeka out of her kennels for a short while, and she posed prettily for her pictures..... Heaven only knows what is going through her mind....... Is this what my life is going to be like? I was with a family, then everyone just ups and leaves..... Why was I given such a big heart? It is just so's it can be broken so many times? Why was I born? Did it all end when I stopped being cute and funny? Meeka will be available for rehoming from 18th August. If you have any questions or would like more information on Meeka please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. Wow Walked this absolute beauty this morning and I'm still star struck !! Meeka is a mid sized cross girl, gorgeous tan coat and very pretty face On coming out of the kennels she was a little timid and perhaps a bit aloof, after all pretty girls don't give their affections too easily! She walks well with little pulling, and we trekked off to Grangemoor park. On reaching the park, and after a quick drink of water she started to relax and became much more interested in us, and her very sweet personality really shines through. She enjoys a good old snuffle around, and was quite happy exploring the parks undergrowth and thick grasses as my wife and daughter decided a quick blackberry picking was in order .... There are loads this year! We walked on, picked up a coffee from Costa and by now Meeka was relaxed and enjoying her time out. Loud noises do startle her though, so gentle reassurance and chatter seem to help her. She is a little unsure around other dogs, rearing up at one stage but not aggressive or vocal, so a little work required here. But this girl is worth a little effort to socialise, calm and comfort her, she is very special Then all stops .. As CDH ring and ask us to bring her back! People are waiting to see her!! So quickly back, and goodness me there appears to be a Queue!! Not one but two families hoping to catch this honey. Both families had other animals they need to introduce, so whilst we hope Meeka has found a new family, if she hasn't ........ don't miss the chance to meet her.... It's not often you get to walk out with a supermodel
