Oh Bruce! Gimme my heart back!!!! Bruce arrived at the Dogs Home just as we were about to leave today, but it would have been rude not to stay to welcome him! Bruce was found wandering around Newport and brought to the Home by a kind-hearted member of the public. If he isn't reclaimed by his owner, he will be available for rehoming from 28th September. His finder has already fallen in love with him so he already has one application, but the staff will take up to 3 to ensure the right home is chosen, so if you'd like to meet him you'd better be quick! Bruce is just a puppy, we think probably no more than about six months old, so he may have some growing to do yet! He is a strikingly handsome young lad! Bruce isn't microchipped, so we have no idea about his parentage, it's anyone's guess! Resident terrier Lincoln was there to welcome Bruce to the Home, and was more than happy to show him around the garden! For more information on Bruce, or any of the dogs for rehoming in NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME, please TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm or 2pm - 4pm, or pop in for a visit! No appointment needed, and you might even get a cup of tea! Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, and microchip. It is a condition of the rehoming contract that all dogs are neutered/spayed aged six months. Subsidised vouchers are available at £35, this is in addition to the rehoming fee. All applicants will be homechecked prior to approval.

Bruce has been rehomed! He was such a favourite with the staff and volunteers, we are going to miss his goofy face, but couldn't be happier for him! WTG Bruce
