Aw Bella - what a cutie-pie you are!
Bella has been signed over to the Home due to a change in her owners circumstances, so is available for rehoming immediately. She does have a cherry-eye which will need surgery, and the Home have asked Friends if we can help with her vet fees. She will feel so much more comfortable once she has had this small operation.
A little bit of tlc will have her coat looking much better too, her nails need clipping, and we are hoping to arrange a spa-day for Bella soon. And when you look good you feel good eh Bella?
Bella's previous owners say she had a few 'accidents' in the home. Whether this is because she hasn't been let out to toilet regularly, or whether it's because she was left for long periods, we simply don't know. But potential rehomers should be aware that Bella might need a little extra help in the early days/weeks.
We were also told Bella is good with children and dogs. We didn't have any little people to test this out, but without a doubt she is very comfortable and well socialised around other dogs!
Saying 'hi' to Sawyer!
The garden play-date ended a bit abruptly, as it started to rain, but none of the little 'uns were ready to go back into their kennels, so they had the run of the offices for the rest of the afternoon! It really was doggy heaven in Newport City Dogs Home today!
Bella, Bas, and Sawyer were dwarfed by the absolutely gorgeous Alfie!
For more information on Bella please contact NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME.
TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm or 2pm - 4pm, or pop in for a visit! No appointment needed!
Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, and microchip. It is a condition of the rehoming contract that all dogs are neutered/spayed aged six months. Subsidised vouchers are available at £35, this is in addition to the rehoming fee.
All applicants will be homechecked prior to approval.
